Aggeo Pio Sobrinho Park - Belo Horizonte

Aggeo Pio Sobrinho Park is the second largest municipal park in Belo Horizonte, with an area of 600 thousand square meters. Part of it integrates Serra do Curral, with native vegetation of Atlantic Forest and Cerrado.

However, only a small area is open to the public, for free access. This area offers walking track, sports court, toys for children, large lawns and a small stream. The biggest attraction is the contact with nature, its flowers and animals.

Flowers flood our visions with so bright colors, coloring the entire place.

There are also small birds everywhere, brightening the atmosphere.

The park has a large number of marmosets. These primates are originally from South America and currently can only be seen in Brazil. They are threatened with extinction, but here they feel at ease, in their protected home.
